Mr. Donald Pruim age 86 of Leslie, passed away Saturday, June 06, 2020

at Country Gardens Assisted Living in Butler, GA. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Rev. Keith Parks will officiate.

Mr. Pruim was Born November 1, 1933 in Birnamwood, WI son of the late Fred Pruim and the late Gertrude Bultman Pruim. Mr. Pruim served in the United State Marine Corp. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He worked as Train Engineer for Chicago & North Western Railroad for many years. Mr. Pruim has farmed in three states and made Sumter county his home. He farmed until his health declined. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Pruim of Leslie, a son and daughter-in-law Randy J. Pruim (Angie) of Cordele, two sisters and brother-in-law, Margaret Van Kampen (James) of Lombard, IL and Jeanette Keppler of Yorba Linda, CA. Three grandchildren Joshua R. Pruim of Leslie, Allison M. Pruim of Tampa, FL, Kaylee Cowart Dillon) of Valdosta and a great grand daughter Emma Cowart also survives.

Mr. Pruim was preceded in death by a son Jeff A. Pruim.
