Mrs. Crystal G. Carnes age 67, of Andersonville, passed away Monday, June 22, 2020 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2020 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Rev. Willie Cooper will officiate. Interment will follow in the Andersonville National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:30 on Friday in the funeral home chapel.

Mrs. Carnes was born March 28, 1953 in Logan, Utah. She was the daughter of the late Herman Lee Green and the late Evelyn Margaret Bartlett Green. She was a Homemaker and worked for the City of Andersonville until her retirement. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Laurie Lewis (Scott) of Albany, GA., Joy Smith (Mason) of Tazewell and Amy Lewis (Mark) of Statesboro, GA. A son Richard Carnes of Americus, two sisters Lee Trejbal of Jacksonville, FL and Debbie Bullard of Jacksonville, FL. Thirteen grandchildren Rick Carnes Jr., Nikki Carnes, Casey Carnes, Destiny Carnes, Megan Lewis, Sarah Lewis, Sam Lewis, Natalie Lewis, Shelby Smith, Jade Smith, Michael Lewis, Samantha Lewis and Sally Ann Lewis. Three great grandchildren Cayden Carnes, Raelyn Coe and Allison Carnes also survive.
