On Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Mr. Ronald (Ronnie) Ray Visage, Sr. went to be with the Lord. Mr. Visage was born on February 9, 1946 in Reynolds to the late Carlton Visage, Sr. and Christine  Sweargin Visage. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Carlton Visage, Jr., and his sister, Shirley Visage Coleman. Mr. Visage is survived by his wife of 51 years Connie Bass Visage, a son, Ronald R. Visage, Jr., daughter-in-law, Tonya Watson Visage and a granddaughter, Cameron Visage, from Plains, a sister, Joyce Johnson from Ft. Valley, several nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.

Mr. Visage loved people and loved making new friends. He graduated from Reynolds High School in Reynolds, where he holds the record for scoring the school’s most points in a basketball game and was selected as Reynolds High School’s greatest athlete from 1961-1965. He was an avid sports fan and especially loved basketball having had 87 college offers upon high school graduation. He attended Brewton Parker College and South Georgia Technical College.

Mr. Visage was a member of Life Point Church. He was in the pest control business for 43 years, having served part of that time as Manager of Arrow Pest Control prior to his retirement in 2014.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Oak Grove cemetery with Rev. James Womack officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Life Point Church, 384 GA 30 W. Americus, GA  31709.
