Joshua Watzlowick hired as SGTC Maintenance Technician

Joshua Watzlowick of Leesburg, GA has joined South Georgia Technical College as a Maintenance Technician effective immediately, announced SGTC President Dr. John Watford. Watzlowick will report to SGTC Maintenance Director Jeff Wiseman and SGTC Vice President of Operations Karen Werling.
Watzlowick is a graduate of Lee County High School and Albany Technical College where he studied CPU repair. He also has a Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Certification as well as OC Pepper Spray and Firearms Certification and UST Underground Storage Tank Operator Training for Class A Certification.
He has been employed as a Maintenance/Correctional Officer with the Terrell County Correctional Institute for the past 10 years.
As a Maintenance Technician at SGTC, Watzlowick will be responsible for installing, maintaining or repairing electrical systems and associated hardware, HVAC equipment, plumbing and assisting with renovation projects as assigned. He will also assist with carpentry projects, participate in the repair and maintenance of college equipment and vehicles, participate in grounds maintenance activities and will be required to use a variety of tools, materials and equipment. He will also be responsible for maintaining required records and logs in addition to other duties as assigned.
