Recently, it was reported in a story entitled “The future of Woodland Dr., the boys and girls club and cameras in public bathrooms discussed at Plains City Council” that Plains Mayor Joey Recker came up with the idea of putting cameras inside the public bathrooms in local parks to stop would-be vandals from vandalizing the bathrooms. That report was incorrect. The truth is Recker said that cameras could be posted outside of the restrooms at the entrance to the door to catch vandals, not inside the restrooms.
