Sumter Cycling will once again be holding its monthly First Saturday Ride this Saturday, August 3.

Riders can choose between a 31-mile ride, which will begin at 9:30 a.m. and a 13-mile ride, which will begin at 10:30 a.m. Both rides will begin at the Spot: Latin Fusion Cuisine and Bar, which is located at 118 N. Jackson St. in Downtown Americus.

After the rides have concluded, riders can enjoy lunch together back at The Spot, courtesy of Sumter Cycling.

Riders are advised to come a few minutes early to get parked and ready. Parking is available behind City Hall and at the public safety building, as well as on Jackson St.

Riders are also advised to pre-hydrate before the ride and to hydrate during the ride by bringing a water bottle with them.
