Georgia Southwestern State University head men’s soccer coach Eric Crawford, entering his sixth season at the helm, has finalized the Hurricanes 2024 schedule to include 15 matches with eight taking place at Hurricane Field.

GSW will begin its season at home “Under the Lights” on Thursday, Sept. 5 against Middle Georgia State University with the annual kick-off celebration that culminates with a post-match fireworks extravaganza. The first road contest follows two days later as the Hurricanes travel to Daytona Beach, Fla. to face Embry-Riddle.

GSW entertains Shorter University on Wednesday, Sept. 11 before their longest road trip of the season with matches at Alabama-Huntsville on Sept. 15 and the Peach Belt Conference opener at North Georgia on Sept. 21. The Hurricanes close out the month with home matches against Florida Southern (Sept. 25) and Lander (Sept. 28).

The entire month of October consists of alternating home and road Peach Belt Conference matches. The Hurricanes play Flagler College, USC Aiken and Clayton State twice during the month while wrapping up the season series with the North Georgia and Lander. Fans can catch the Hurricanes at home the first two Saturdays (Oct. 5 & 12) and the final two Wednesdays (Oct. 23 & 30) of the month to conclude the regular season.
