Americus Downtown goers share what they are thankful for

Several people in the Americus Downtown shared what they are thankful for ahead of Thanksgiving. Dana Creswell told what he was thankful for. “Most of all, just each day is a new day of learning.” He also told how he enjoyed walks. “All the sights and sounds, the birds, just everything.” Creswell was filled with praise. “It’s a wonderful life considering the One who created it all.”
Creswell told his plans for Thanksgiving, stating his church, First Baptist, is going to hold a Thanksgiving banquet. He also shared plans with family. “My sister just [texted] me. She lives in Florida now, she just [texted] me, and says we’re invited again to my brother’s stepson’s for Thanksgiving.”
Christina Vinyard also shared what she was thankful for. “My family, my children, and my husband.”
Vinyard shared other things that made her thankful. “Our church family . . .at Central Baptist, and for our jobs, and our patients that we get to serve every single day.”
John Inzetta also shared what he was thankful for. “I’m thankful for my family, and I’m thankful for just having a place to live.” He also expressed thankfulness for his job and everything God has given him.
Inzetta shared Thanksgiving plans. “We’re staying local. I have some family coming to us.” He stated he hadn’t decided on whether or not they would have Turkey.
Fleming Gatewood shared what made her thankful. “My family.” She told how she was visiting her grandparents who live in Americus.
Gatewood shared how she usually spent Thanksgiving. “I spend it up in the mountains with most of my family on my dad’s side.”
Amber Carr also shared things that made her thankful for. “I am thankful for my health this year. I’m thankful for my friends, and all the love they’ve given for me.” She also shared something special she was thankful for. “To be newly married and to now have two families instead of one.”
Carr also shared a favorite Thanksgiving tradition she practiced after every Thanksgiving. “[We] go look at Christmas lights and eat Krispy Krème donuts.”
Kailey Pajerski also shared what she was thankful for. “My family, and my job.” Pajerski shared her favorite dish. “Green bean casserole.”
Kaylee Roland shared what she was Thankful for ahead of Thanksgiving. “I’m thankful for my family, Scoops, my man, and that’s it.” She told where she normally spent Thanksgiving. “My grandma’s house or my dad’s house.”
