Joan Magrogan, age 79, of Canton, passed away November 25, 2024. Joan loved her time teaching children to read in the Crisp County School System and encouraging children to be the best they can be. Joan participated in severe adult literacy programs and taught future teachers the art of teaching at GSW located in Americus GA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 plus years, Pat Magrogan, and a daughter, Jennifer Harris. Survived by her sons; Matt Foster, Chris Magrogan; grandchildren, Olivia Harris, Garner Harkelroad, Courtney Williams and Tyler Foster. Memorial services will be held in the spring and will be announced at a later date.
