On December 28, 2024 a Deputy was patroling the Sunset Park area when the Sumter County Sheriff’s Deputy noticed a dark in coloring SUV pull off from a residence traveling west bound on Rainbow Terrace with the driver side headlight out. Daniels, Gregory Lee, 50, was  arested for Fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, Obstructing or hindering law enforcement officers, Reckless driving, Failure to obey stop sign, Too fast for conditions/prima facie speed, Improper turn, Suspended registration, Improper lane change, Failure to maintain lane, Defective tires, Driving while license suspended or revoked, Headlight requirements, DUI- Alcohol/controlled substance present in blood/urine, Possession of open alcohol container,  Striking unattended vehicle, Probation violation, Failure to appear for fingerprintable charge-felony.
