Students will return to school on Wednesday, January 8. Thursday, January 9, has been declared a National Day of Mourning as we say our final goodbyes to former President Jimmy Carter, a leader whose profound legacy has touched countless lives. In respect of this solemn occasion and with road closures that will disrupt bus routes, SCS schools will be closed to students. Faculty and staff are asked to report to work during regular business hours, though the workday will end at noon, giving us all the opportunity to reflect and honor his memory. Students, faculty, and staff are asked to return to their regular schedule on Friday, January 10.
