A seventh suspect, Demarcus Brown, 19, of Leslie was arrested Friday on a felony murder charge in the ongoing investigation of a double homicide and arson case. The murder of Bonnie Freeman and her son Dallas and the burning of the Freeman’s home at 780 R.W. Jones rd in Leslie happened a week ago today.

Also arrested in the case Thursday night was Shaquille Woods, 19, of North Lee Street, Americus. He is charged with giving false statements to law enforcement officers.
