ATLANTA (April 30, 2015) – The friendly rivalry between the University of Georgia and Georgia Tech baseball teams will be put to use for a good cause for the 13th Annual Kauffman Tire Spring Classic for Kids benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. The teams will compete on Tuesday, May 12, for the season series, airing live on Fox Sports South at 7 p.m. FOX Sports South’s Wes Durham and Larry Conley will call the action.

The game will also be available on FOX Sports GO (FOXSportsGo.com), a free app that provides live streaming video of FOX Sports programming through select programming distributors.

This annual, neutral-site showdown at Turner Field is one of the highest-attended regular season NCAA baseball games each year, selling more than 20,000 tickets. Proceeds from the game benefit research in the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Fans can also support Children’s and their favorite team through the Text-to-Give Challenge. A $10 donation can be made by texting either ‘TECH’ or ‘DAWGS’ to 50555. This is a one-time donation, and the school with the most texts will be announced during the game.

General admission tickets are $12. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.choa.org/springclassic. Tickets are also available at Turner Field the day of the event. First pitch is set for 7 p.m.
