Cleveland promises reform in wake of high profile police shootings

Days after Cleveland police officer Michael Brelo was acquitted of manslaughter in the 2012 shooting deaths of two black motorists, the city agreed to a new broad set of police reforms. “This is really a defining moment for the city of Cleveland,” Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson said at a joint press conference with the Department of Justice Tuesday afternoon.
