Walter and Mary Davenport of Americus announce the engagement of their daughter, Angela Marie Davenport of Americus, to Jesse Morgan Miller of Louvale, son of Mrs. Jeffery Lynch of Louvale and the late Randy Miller.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Davenport and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Bass.
She is a 2006 honor graduate of Southland Academy. She graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton in 2008, with an associate’s degree. She graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia with a bachelor of science and arts degree in animal science in 2010; and in 2015 with doctor of veterinary medicine. She is a veterinarian at Americus Veterinary Hospital.
The future groom is the grandson of Frances Miller and the late Raymond Miller, the late Bill Layton and the late Jane Layton.
He graduated in 2005 from Tri-County High School, Buena Vista and in 2010 from South Georgia Technical College with a degree in machine tool technology. He is employed as a CNC machinist at Eaton Corporation.
The wedding is planned for Sept. 26, 2015, in Americus.
