Our opinion: Thank you, veterans
Today, Veterans Day, we recognize and honor our veterans: The men and women who have served our country in peace time and/or in times of war, in order to preserve all the freedoms we enjoy today.
From those brave men of World War II, to the Korean War and Vietnam, all the way to the current day, we salute the courageous men and women who are or have been in uniform.
We should always be aware of our veterans among us, but especially today. We urge you to make it a priority to shake the hand of a veteran and thank him or her for their service.
