AMERICUS — Graveside services for Veteran Charles Eugene Moss of Americus, Ga., will be held at noon Monday, Nov. 23, 2015, at Andersonville National Cemetery. The Rev. Calvin Rollins will officiate and burial will follow immediately afterward. Wake services will be held from 5-6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015, at the Barnum Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Open Hand Ministry, 610 Stapleton St., Americus GA 31709.
Veteran Charles Eugene Moss was born on Nov. 24, 1932, in Sumter County, Georgia, to the parentage of the late Mr. Wheeler Moss and the late Mrs. Annie Willis Nelms.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 48 years, Mrs. Annie Bell Moss; one daughter, Mrs. Linda (Joe) White; one son, Mr. Charles (Joyce) Moss Jr.; four grandchildren, Joey White, Kenneth (Berlin) White, Najea Moss and Celestine; a brother, Mr. Andrew (Doris) Daniels Sr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
