AMERICUS — Fellowship Baptist Church hosts a Christmas Missions Market this month. Simplify your shopping by giving to one or more of four worthy organizations. For each donation, a specified friend or relative will receive an acknowledgment card stating the donation that was made in their name and giving information about the organization.
The available organizations are The Sumter Faith Clinic, The Heifer Project, The Fuller Center for Housing, and Jubilee Partners. The market will have informational displays for each of the organizations, and persons to assist in the donation process. The market will be held from noon-1 p.m. Sundays, Dec. 6, 13 and 20 at the church. The market will also be set up from 8 a.m.-noon Dec. 19 at Café Campesino’s new downtown location, 134 W. Lamar St.
