VIDALIA —  Mr. Curt Morrison, age 61, of Vidalia, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia, after a brief illness. He was a native of Americus, and a 1972 graduate of Americus High School, and of South Georgia Technical and Vocational College, also in Americus. He moved to Vidalia in 1978, and was employed with Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Power Plant. He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry Elmer Morrison and Donnett Kay McDonald Morrison; and a sister, Melanie Kay Morrison.
Mr. Morrison is survived by his wife of 41 years, Donna Morrison of Vidalia; three children, Brian Morrison and wife Melanie of Richmond Hill; twin daughters, Melissa Morrison and Michelle Morrison Dubberly, both of Vidalia; one brother, Kent Morrison and wife Christine of Albany; five grandchildren, Bradley Morrison, Blake Dubberly, Seth Morrison, Richie Morrison, and Lyla Morrison; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with the Rev.  Bill Vansant, Kent Morrison, Royce Clark, and Tim Moncrief officiating. Burial followed in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Michael Morrison, Trey Morrison, Seth Morrison, Bradley Morrison, Blake Dubberly, and Mike Adams.
Honorary pallbearers were friends and colleagues of Plant Hatch.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorial gifts may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 2302 Parklake Drive, Atlanta GA 30345.
Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home of Vidalia was in charge of arrangements.
