AMERICUS — Ms. Gloria M. Gorbutt, 46, of 247 Ga. Highway 49 South, Lot G, in Americus, passed away on Feb. 18, 2016, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, Ga. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, 2016, in the chapel at Aldridge Funeral Services. The Rev. Hugh Harbort will officiate. Visitation was held from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, in the chapel at Aldridge Funeral Services.
Ms. Gorbutt was born on June 15, 1969, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Mr. Kenneth Ray Gorbutt and Mrs. Sharon Marie Bernecker. Ms. Gorbutt had worked most of her life in the retail industry. She was of the Baptist faith.
Ms. Gorbutt is survived by her mother, Mrs. Sharon Marie Bernecker; a daughter, Cassie Lee Hall and her husband John of Macon, Ga.; a son, Justin Roy Robinson of Flint, Michigan; two brothers, Les Gorbutt and his wife Maryann of Americus, Ga., and Kyle Gorbutt and his wife Lace of Florida; three grandchildren: Breanna Hall, Amber Rose Hall and Dayton Hall, all of Macon, Ga.; and two nieces and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Kenneth Ray Gorbutt.
