AMERICUS – The Knights of Columbus Council 7113 of Americus wil be hosting the organization’s 19th annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Griffin Bell Golf Links on May 7 in Americus.
The tournament will be held in a four-man scramble format, beginning at 8:00 a.m.
The cost of participation is $60 per player, with lunch and drinks provided.
The first-place team will be awarded a prize of $350, while second-place winners will receive $250. Teams in third and fourth places will receive $150 and $100, respectively. Prizes will be awarded to the player who lands closest to the pin on all par threes as well as for player who makes the longest putt and the straightest drive.
All proceeds from the event will go to benefit charities around South Georgia.
