Sumter County Sheriff Pete Smith recently visited Hope Deriso’s second-grade class at Sumter County Primary School and read the book titled ‘Secretly Do Good Deeds.’ After reading the sheriff explained what a deed was to the students, talked about the importance of doing good deeds, and how it makes people feel. He challenged all of the second-graders to go home that night and surprise one of their loved ones by doing a good deed.
