The students in Eddierene S. Prather’s fourth-grade reading class at Webster County Elementary School know that it is important to read and achieve their reading goals every quarter. The students were given class time to come up with at least three strategies to achieve their reading goals. The students shared their strategies with the class. If the students heard a strategy that they liked, they were asked to put it on their ‘Ways to achieve my reading goals’ list.
