A pair of Kiwanians led the Pet Parade, followed by members of local Boy Scout Troop 21.

No need to worry about ghouls wandering around downtown… The Ghostbusters are on the job! This float (manned by Ty, Hudson, Karter, and Jayce) was the second-place winner for the costume/pet competition with their dogs, Lexi and Bink.

There must have been a mystery downtown, because the Scooby Doo crew (The Williams Family, which received a second-place award in the costume/pet category) was definitely on the case!

This family of spiders (Bess and Carolyn Hartley and Grace and Matthew Williams) took first-place honors with their pets’ costumes showing a clever mixture of spooky and adorable

This goat in wolf’s clothing’s hooves were tired, so she got a lift to the end of the parade route..

Members of the Times-Recorder’s staff worked dilligently to distribute 500 bags of candy to local trick-or-treaters following the parade.
