Schley County High School won the Area 5A One-Act Play Competition Oct. 27 at the Rylander Theatre in Americus. They went on to place sixth in state competition in Cochran on Nov. 5. The play was a poignant drama called Dragons.  At area competition, Nathan Jackson won Best Actor. Kayla Nixon was recognized as Best Supporting Actress, and Rylie McIlrath was recognized for All Star Cast.  At state competition Jackson was recognized for All Star Cast.
