AMERICUS — John Gordon Frazier, 71, of Americus, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2017,  at his home. He was born Nov. 28, 1945, in Leghorn, Italy, to the late Floyd Jefferson Frazier and Maria Vichi Frazier. He attended Bethel Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Vietnam War. He was a retired farmer who enjoyed the outdoors, raising cattle, hunting, and fishing.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Americus. The Rev. Steve Golden and the Rev. Robert Orr will officiate the service. The family will receive friends at the family residence: 1917 Ga. Highway 195 North, Americus GA 31709.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Connie Frazier of Americus; two daughters and one son-in-law: Trina Frazier Guest of Americus and Robin and Zac Faulkner of Griffin; a son, John Brian Frazier of Americus; and three grandchildren: Holly Gayle Guest, Zacharye John Faulkner, and Hannah Faye Faulkner. Also surviving are a sister, Amanda Law; brother, Gene Frazier; and several nieces and nephews.
