VALDOSTA — Valdosta State University announces the undergraduate and graduate students who completed the requirements of their respective academic programs during the fall semester. This list of graduates includes the following from the local area.
• Jynesia Buckner of Marshallville earned a bachelor of science in organizational leadership.
• Nicole King of Americus earned a bachelor of business administration in healthcare administration.
• Sallie Minick of Ellaville earned a master of arts in teaching in special education.
• Sekemia Caldwell-Johnson of Marshallville earned a master of education in adult and career education
• Carolyn Dowdey of Americus earned an education specialist in special education.
Approximately 1,400 undergraduate and graduate students were recognized during VSU’s 222nd commencement ceremonies Dec. 9-10.
