Registration open for GSW Sports and Science Camp

AMERICUS – The second-annual GSW Sports and Science Camp is scheduled to be held at Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW), beginning in mid-June. Children ages 6-14 will have the opportunity to participate in one of three different sessions. The first session will be held June 12-16. The second will be held June 19-23 and the third will take place June 26-30.
Participants in the camps will have the opportunity to hone their athletic skills in a variety of sports, including basketball, volleyball, and swimming. A portion of each session will be dedicated to a variety of kid-friendly science and chemistry activities, led by GSW professor, Dr. Nedialka Iordanov. Dr. Catalina Casaru, a former Olympian and All-American swimmer, will be instructing the swimming portion of the camp.
The price per session is $340 per child. A $20 discount will be available for individuals who pre-register.
Registration deadlines for the three sessions are June 2, June 9, and June 16, respectively.
