Sumter County Intermediate School implemented a new behavior system named ABE (Alternative Behavior Educator) during the 2016-17 school year. The ABE System provides students of all ages interactive software that emphasizes the importance of responsible behavior. Children can build up points based on behavior and use them at event like the ABE Shootout. Students who had 85 or more points in their ‘checking account’ were able to attend the ABE Shootout.
