ELLAVILLE, Ga. — Mrs. Grace Moore Harden, 94, of Stone Mountain, Ga., passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017, at Cobblestone at Park Springs in Stone Mountain. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2017, in the Ellaville Cemetery. The Rev. Hugh DeLoach will officiate.

Mrs. Harden was born on March 15, 1923, to John David Moore and Carrie Dean Moore in Social Circle, Ga. She had worked with Goodyear Tire Co. in Atlanta during the 1940s, and later was a substitute teacher in DeKalb County. Mrs. Harden was an avid gardener, having loved to work in her yard. She was a former member of Central Baptist Church in Americus, Ga., and a current member of Mount Park First Baptist Church of Stone Mountain, Ga.

Survivors include one son, Jim Harden and wife Steph of Lilburn, Ga.; one sister, Patricia Hines of Leslie, Ga. Also surviving are three grandchildren, James Harden IV and wife Alisha, Jessica Fort and husband Erik, Jennifer Harden; and three great-grandchildren, Lilah Harden, Hailey Harden and James Harden V.  Mrs. Harden was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Harden Jr.
