ALBANY — Thomas Boswell Mann passed away Aug. 6, 2017, at Willson Hospice House in Albany, Ga., at the age of 77. A resident of Albany, Ga., he was preceded in death by his parents Perry and Julia B. Mann and a brother, Dr. Perry (Bill) Mann.

Mr. Mann, known to friends as TMANN, is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Diane Gerela Mann, of Albany, Ga.; two daughters, Angela (David) Ellis and Meg (Brad) Ramey of Suwanee, Ga.; and three stepsons and a stepdaughter, Mark (Jackie) Honeyman of Daphne, Ala., Jerome Honeyman of Virginia, Yvonne (Paul) Gajewski of Gulfport, Miss., Mike (Janice) Honeyman of Athens, Ga. Surviving grandchildren, who lovingly named him TPOP, are Meganne and KK Ellis and Ali and Maddie Ramey, all of Suwanee, Ga,; Jordan Honeyman of Daphne, Ala., and Jenna Honeyman of Portland, Ore., Heather (Pat) Honeyman of Cleveland, Tenn., Diana House of Purvis, Miss., and Gage Gajewski of Gulfport, Miss.,  Tyler and Kaleigh Honeyman of Athens, Ga.; as well as several great-grandchildren and lifelong friends, Glenn and Judy Bailey of Ocala, Fla. Last but certainly not least, his faithful companion BOOM BOOM — his Boykin Spaniel who never left his side.

A native of Talbotton, Ga., Mr. Mann was a graduate of The University of Georgia and a die-hard DAWG fan. He retired from a career as a salesman in the mobile home industry from Woodgrain Millworks. TMANN was an avid golfer and believed that a bad day on the golf course was better than a good day anywhere else.

The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Willson Hospice House, 320 Foundation Lane, Albany GA 31707.
