(Sept. 23-29)
• Firefighters responded to 11 calls for medical assistance.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
• Firefighters responded to Parker Street to a report of a fire in a back yard. They extinguished a small trash fire on the wood line.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on East Forsyth Street.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm on South Hampton Street. There was no fire.
• Firefighters responded to an apartment fire at Cripple Creek Apartments, 110 Knollwood Drive. They ventilated after putting out the fire. A juvenile admitted to starting the fire with a lighter.
• Firefighters responded to Felder Street and Wildwood Circle to a burn complaint. They found light gray smoke in the area but no fire.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on Tripp Street.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm on South Hampton Street again. No hazards were found.
