The fifth-grade students at Southland Academy recently finished studying predator and prey relationships. The students had the opportunity to dissect regurgitated owl pellets. They worked in pairs as they retrieved skeletal parts that were not digested by the owl. The students enjoyed discovering what particular species had been consumed. Shown are students in Angie Bell’s fifth-grade class working on a science project.
