AMERICUS — Mr. Charles Michael Deriso, 80, of Ellaville, Ga., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Funeral services will be graveside at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct, 14, 2017, at the Ellaville City Cemetery. The Rev. Rick Smith and the Rev. Mark Poole will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday evening, Oct. 13, 2017, in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services.

Mr. Deriso was born Dec. 2, 1936, in Tampa, Fla. He was the manager for Westinghouse Supply Co. Mr. Deriso served in the United States Navy and was a member of Cheek Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include: two daughters, Cheryl Marlene Deriso of Ellaville, Ga., and Deborah Lynne Deriso of Ellaville, Ga.; a son, Michael Deriso (Jill) of Kinston, N.C.; one grandchild, Lezlie Deriso Poole (Nigel) of Americus, Ga.; two great-grandchildren, Jasper Poole and Emory Poole.

Mr. Deriso was preceded in death by his wife Henrietta Jo Pannell Deriso; and two sisters, Marie Deriso Guest and Martha Floyd Powell.
