AMERUCUS – The following unofficial Nov. 7 local election results have been reported to the ATR:

MAYOR

Candidate Laura Lee Bernstein – 718 votes (43%)

Candidate Barry Blount – 951 votes (57%)

CITY COUNCIL DISTRICT FIVE

Candidate Kelvin Pless – 197 votes (66%)

Candidate Shirley Green Reese – 103 votes (34%)

SUNDAY PACKAGE SALES

Yes – 1008 votes (61%)

No – 641 votes (39%)

Among early voters, Blount garnered 342 votes to Bernstein’s 279. Pl3ss accrued 83 votes while Reese gained 44 votes among early voters. The early votes count 377 votes for Sunday package sales as opposed to 230 against.

Voters casting ballots at the Griffin Bell Conference Center voted in favor of Blount 336-128 while voters at the Rees Park polling spot voted in favor of Bernstein 103-80.

Blount received 758 total votes while Bernstein recorded 510.
