AMERICUS — Margaret Louise Ballestracci, age 79, of Americus, died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Mrs. Ballestracci was born June 28, 1938, in Forrest City, N.C., the daughter of the late Kelley Edgar Simpson and Myrtis Bowen Simpson. She was a registered nurse and was employed for many years with Sumter Regional Hospital and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Americus with Billy Goodman officiating.

Mrs. Ballestracci is survived by her husband of 59 years, Fred Ballestracci; three sons and daughters-in-law: Myles and Retha Ballestracci of Fredericksburg Va., Kelly and Kari Ballestracci, of Marietta, Ga., and Chris and Kimberley Ballestracci, of Fairfax, Va. She is also survived by one sister Frances Huntley of Forest City, N.C.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister Mary Ollie Kennedy.
