Perry & Walters, LLP names Hayden Hooks to partnership

ALBANY — The Albany law firm of Perry & Walters, LLP announces that Hayden Headley Hooks of Americus has been elevated to partner effective Jan. 1, 2018.
Hooks joined Perry & Walters as an associate in 2015, after practicing education law in the Metro Atlanta area and representing the largest school district in the state of Georgia. She has extensive experience in special education law, student discipline, and personnel matters. Since joining Perry & Walters, she has continued her focus on local government and education law as a member of the firm’s governmental practice group.

Hooks is a 2007 summa cum laude graduate of Auburn University, where she was awarded membership in Phi Beta Kappa. She is a 2010 cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law. Mrs. Hooks, her husband and their son live in Americus.
Perry & Walters, LLP’s governmental practice group primarily consists of Tommy Coleman, Flin Coleman, and Hayden Hooks. The firm currently serves as legal counsel to 38 governmental entities and institutional clients throughout Georgia. They frequently handle civil rights litigation on behalf of the Georgia School Board Association and the Georgia Intergovernmental Risk Management Association.
