Sumter Cycling can help you get in shape for the New Year

AMERICUS — Grab your bike and join Sumter Cycling as it kicks off 2018 with its first Saturday ride on Jan. 6. The ride will start at 10 a.m. in downtown Andersonville. Two distances are available, a 12-mile and a 25-mile route. These are no drop rides, which means that no one will be left to ride alone. If it has been some time since you were on a bike, these courses are fairly flat making them ideal entry rides.
At the completion of the ride, join in a light lunch, provided by Sumter Cycling, at the Anderson Station restaurant on the square in Andersonville. Lunch will be available around 11:30 a.m.
This is a wonderful opportunity to not only get some exercise but also to meet some new biking buddies.  So bundle up, and start your new year with a fun ride. There is no better time than now!
