AMERICUS — UGA Extension – Sumter County welcomes Elizabeth Greene as new EFNEP program assistant
EFNEP is the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program. EFNEP reaches adults and youth through educational programs on food safety, healthy eating, and stretching the food dollar.
EFNEP participants learn how to
• Save money on food
• Plan quick and easy meals for their family
• Prepare delicious and nutritious recipes
• Keep foods safe to eat
Greene invites you to join her for Food Talk, a University of Georgia Nutrition Program where participants will receive a University of Georgia “Meals in Minutes” Cookbook and a University of Georgia Nutrition certificate with completion of the class.
