Two Americus-Sumter High School (ASHS) alumni made a special trip to the school last week to give a presentation about the college registration process. ASHS alumni Di Qi of Princeton University and Heeral McGhee of Yale University spoke for nearly an hour to an audience of 30 current Americus-Sumter High students. Afterward, both presenters lingered to speak with individual students to encourage them in their quests to pursue a university degree.
