Raiders share a night with the Hurricanes
AMERICUS – It was a night of fun and frivolity at the Storm Dome on January 3 as Southland Academy shared a night with the Hurricanes. To help start 2018 off right, Southland students, faculty and families were able to take in the Georgia Southwestern State women’s and men’s basketball games. “Southland has a great relationship with GSW”, Southland Academy Athletic Director Clint Humphrey said. “We appreciate Coach Leeder and GSW inviting our students and parents out for a fun night of basketball.”
As part of the fun festivities at GSW, kids participated in relay races at halftime of the women’s game, and played a game of “gotcha” at halftime of the men’s game.
