Chosen by the high school student body from nominations made by the senior class, Mr. and Miss Southland for the 2017-2018 school year have been announced. Miss Southland is Sydney Hayes, daughter of John and Gaye Hayes of Americus. Mr. Southland is Morgan Youngdale, son of Renae Kellam of Cobb and Ross Youngdale of Americus.
