The South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) electrical systems technology advisory committee met recently in the John M. Pope Industrial Technology Center on the college’s Americus campus to discuss several aspects of the industry. The purpose of the advisory committee is to assist SGTC faculty and staff in continuous quality improvement of the electrical systems technology program. SGTC electrical systems technology instructors, Tyler Wells of the Americus campus and Mike Enfinger of the Cordele campus, provided the committee with updates and information about program changes, enrollment, community activities, and student news. Members present at the advisory committee meeting included Dan Torbert of Torbert Electric Co., Ronnie Miller of the Crisp County Power Commission, and Darrell Crenshaw of Electric Wholesale Supply.
