COBB — Charles “Buster” Hines, 72, of Cobb, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at his home. A native of Americus, he was born Nov. 25, 1945, to the late Charles Crawford Hines and Odel Allen Hines. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed working in his yard, fishing, sitting by a fire, and listening to oldies music. He enjoyed watching and reading National Geographic and watching movies, riding motorcycles and dune buggies.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 29 at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m., an hour prior to the service, at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel in Americus. Burial will be private.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Elaina and Brian Ethridge of Americus; and a granddaughter, Keira Ethridge.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Hines Parker; and an infant brother.
