Southland Academy Lower School Math Club students participated in a STEM Challenge at their end-of-the-year meeting. Students worked together to make cuts in an index card that would allow their entire body to fit through the hole. Everyone enjoyed seeing how large of an opening could be created by using various sizes of index cards. Math Club members have worked hard all year engaging in rigorous activities and participated in the GSW Mathematics Tournament held in March. We can’t wait to see the wonderful things these students accomplish next year!
