STATESBORO — Georgia Southern University recently recognized approximately 1,400 students for excellence in academics on the Spring 2018 President’s List. To be eligible for the President’s List, a student must have at least a 4.0 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.
Local students named to the list for excellence in academics include Sarah Baumgardner of Cobb, Wesley Fields of Americus, Jared Harris of Montezuma, Mallory Hernandez of Americus, Katherine Kennon of Americus, Rachel Minick of Preston, Lynetta Tatum of Americus, Carly Taylor of Cobb, Lily Westbrook of Ellaville, and Sara Westra of Americus.
