AMERICUS — This year Allie’s Boutique & More ‘s fundraiser for the fight against breast cancer will be taking place on First Friday (Classic Movies theme) Oct. 5 in downtown Americus. One hundred percent of all proceeds made from this event will go to Candice Hancock to aid in her battle against breast cancer.
Many local businesses are helping out by participating in decorating bras that we will be put on display the day of the fundraiser. Each fun and artistically decorated bra will have a donation jar for voting on your favorite!
There are also have two raffles going on now where you can buy a ticket for $5 to win a Yeti cooler and a $2 ticket to win a gift basket valued over $400.
This year’s Bras for a Cause is “Grease” themed, and features live music, milkshakes, and more.
