AMERICUS — Mr. George Cleo Price, 77, of Americus, Ga., died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018, in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Tim Peavy will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until service time Sunday, Oct. 14 at the funeral home.

Mr. George Cleo Price was born June 14, 1941, in Dooly County, son of the late Ralph Sanford Price and the late Jennie Adelle Price. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Victory Worship Center in Americus.

Survivors include the mother of his children Jackie Browning Clark; three daughters and sons-in-law Dana Price of Americus, Paige Peavy (Tim) of Ellaville, and Kim Hammons (Dale) of Americus; one son and daughter-in-law Scott Price (Delana) of Ellaville; two sisters Marzelle Peaster of Perry, and Tina Beamon (Jack) of Smithville; three brothers Ralph Price (Viola) of Montezuma, Mike Price (Pam) of Montezuma and Burl Price of Fortson, Ga. Also surviving are seven grandchildren Taylor Hammons (Tiffany), Lauryn Rainey (Thomas), Noah Hammons, Garrett Peavy, Kasey Price, Timber Price and Alyssa Price; two great-grandchildren Rowan Rainey and Harper Hammons. A special niece Christy Keeler and two special great-nephews Jacob and Hayden Keeler, and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
