Americus-Sumter High School (ASHS) recently made a donation to the family of deceased ASHS junior Aaliyah Hogan who died Sept. 8 due to bone cancer. The donation was raised through fundraisers held at school, including a donation jar and a basketball game. ASHS Assistant Principle Marnie Dutcher, Ed.D., presented a check to Aaliyah Hogan’s mother, Tonya Hogan-Wells, in an informal ceremony held at the school.
