Advancing Sumter hosts 2-day leadership training

AMERICUS — The Advancing Sumter Community Leadership Development Program will host a two-day leadership workshop. The Saturday sessions are from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on March 23 and 30 at the GSW Student Success Center. Successful participants must attend on both days.
Topics include: Understanding Community Leadership, Effective Communication, Group Dynamics, Managing Conflict, Understanding Community Leadership, Conducting Successful Meetings, Group Problem-Solving and Decision Making, Valuing Community Diversity, and Building Communities Through Partnerships and Collaboration.
Pre-registration is required and due by Wednesday, March 20. Space is limited.
